LEGIC Partnership with Leading US Manufacturer Open Options

LEGIC will be supplying comprehensive access control to North America thanks to its partnership with US manufacturer open options.

Open Options supplies integrated security solutions and is now a licence partner of LEGIC Identsystems Ltd who manufactures contactless smart card technology platforms for personal identification.

This partnership will deliver comprehensive IP access control solutions based on LEGIC technology. The open architecture of the DNA Fusion product by Open Options allows flexible adaptation to suit customer-specific circumstances and integrates multifunctional identification credentials, contactless readers, IT access as well as video management systems.

Through this partnership Open Options is responding to growing demand in America for LEGIC based security solutions.

Softcom Technologies Management Systems Enable Incorporation of LEGIC-Based Security Applications

Softcom Technologies AG, supplier of open multi-purpose platforms, is a new partner of LEGIC Identsystems Ltd.

The partnership will allow the company to provide subsequent integration of a variety of security applications – such as access control, electronic payment systems or video surveillance systems – into a centralised management system. LEGIC based applications can thus be incorporated simply and flexibly into an existing system.

The core competence of Softcom Technologies AG is the development of complete software solutions and Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA), which can be flexibly extended specific to the customer. The partnership with LEGIC opens up access to the world of contactless LEGIC Smart Card technology and its variety of application options.

Leading Chinese University Chooses Multi-Application Campus Card Solution

Tianjin Polytechnic University (TJPU) has decided on a partnership with Switzerland based LEGIC Identsystems Ltd, a leading manufacturer of contactless smart card technology for personal identification. Its School of Computer Science and Software Engineering will now be able to upgrade more than 3000 POS terminals to the latest LEGIC advant technology and to develop new terminals and access control readers for the whole campus. By integrating different elements of university life, the institute benefits from increased security, flexibility and service for students and staff.

 

Tianjin Polytechnic Decides on LEGIC advant

Tianjin Polytechnic University has already been using LEGIC technology to manage payment processes and access control on the campus. With the partnership agreement, TJPU now can trade on the migration to LEGIC advant as a flexible and cost-efficient technology which also meets advanced requirements in terms of security. It enables an easy integration of different solutions but also allows for the customisable adaptation to new or modified applications.

“Year after year, we issue more than 5,000 new campus cards.
